Elounda Windmills are located between the Kolokytha Peninsula and Elounda which lies 10 km from Agios Nikolaos in Lasithi.
The three abandoned windmills are one of the most distinctive landmarks in Lasithi, as they sit in the area of the ancient sunken city of Olous or Oloundas, which gave its name to modern day Elounda.
